Jill Klekas is the Head of Production at Kaleidoscope VR. With nearly a decade long career in film and television under her belt working with Lawrence Kasdan, Disney Channel Original Movies, Mark Duplass, Diane Keaton & Kevin Kline, etc.; Jill made the jump to VR in 2015 at the launch of Kaleidoscope’s North American Tour. Jill produced the 2016 Kaleidoscope World Tour, DevLab with Oculus, and is managing Kaleidoscope’s slate of content.
Founded in 2014 by René & Selena Pinnell, Kaleidoscope produced the first virtual reality festival in 2015 earning coverage in top publications such as The New York Times, LA Times, and VICE. Kaleidoscope has partnered with companies such as Wired and Facebook, and has gone on to produce high-profile events around the world that explore the art, science, and business of virtual reality. In 2017 Kaleidoscope began executive producing VR content, and launched an invite only platform for creators and industry leaders. To date, Kaleidoscope has helped raise more than $3MM for independent VR creators, and projects discovered on our platform routinely go on to screen at major festivals such as Sundance, Tribeca, IndieCade, Cannes, and SXSW.
