Users’ Privacy

XRBASE respects the privacy of users and has made the protection of user privacy on its Internet Web sites an utmost priority. We are committed to treating any personal information submitted to us by users with great care. We do not disclose your personally identifiable information to third parties with the exception of the cases presented here. Deviating hereof, however, we may be required in some cases to disclose your personal information to law enforcement agencies. This is for example the case if there is suspicion of a crime or misuse of our website.

Since legislative changes or changes in our internal company processes may require an adjustment of this privacy policy, we would like to ask you to review this privacy statement on a regular basis.

Purpose of Data Processing

In connection with the use of this site, we process your personal data for the following purposes, among others:

  • Provision of services via contact forms or Newsletter
  • Conducting personal and anonymous analyses
  • Statistical analyses
  • To prevent misuse

XRBASE uses what is known as “cookies” (small packages of data that transmit system configuration data, such as screen resolution and IP address) to improve the services and products we offer. It is possible, however, to disable cookies storage by changing the settings on your browser (you can find further information about browser settings in your browser’s menu option: “extras – Internet options”, in your browser toolbar.)

Links to Third-Party Websites

Our website features so-called hyperlinks to websites of other providers. When activating these links, you will be redirected from our website directly to the third-party website. You will recognise this by the URL change, among others.

We are not responsible for how these providers handle your data on these external websites, since we have no control over how these providers deal with your personal data. Please visit the websites of the respective providers directly for additional information.

Social Media Plug-Ins

Our Web site contains social media plug-ins of the following companies:

  • Facebook Inc. (1601 S. California Ave – Palo Alto – CA 94304 – USA)
  • Twitter Inc. (795 Folsom St. – Suite 600 – San Francisco – CA 94107 – USA)
  • Pinterest
  • LinkedIn Corporation (2029 Stierlin Court – Mountain View – CA 94043 – USA)

When you visit one of our website pages containing social media plug-ins like the ones of Facebook or Twitter, the social media services’ servers automatically connect to and send plug-in content to your browser. Your browser then integrates the plug-in information into the display of our website. Information, namely your IP address and the fact that you have visited our website, are transferred through the plug-ins to the social media services’ servers. If you visit our website while logged-in to your social media account (f.ex. Twitter and Facebook), you can link content from our website to your personal social media profiles. Additionally, the social media server can correlate your visit to our website to your social media account. If you interact with one of the social media services’ plug-ins by clicking on a “like” or “share” or “tweet” button, or by leaving a comment, your activity information is transferred directly to and saved by their servers.

We expressly advise in this regard that we as website providers have no knowledge of or access to the content of these data transmissions nor of their use by the social media services. You can restrict these data transmissions by logging out of your accounts before visiting our website, and by deactivating cookies in your browser. To learn more about the purpose and extent of Facebook’s and Twitter’s data collection activities and how Facebook and Twitter process and use your data, as well as your rights and individual setting options that serve to protect your privacy, please refer to the corresponding data use policy: (GB) or (US) or
